Arriving by plane
   

More than 40 airline operators fly from Leipzig/Halle to approximatly 100 destinations. The timetable of scheduled flights lists more than 300 direct connections each week to 8 destinations in Germany and 72 international destinations. In addition, there are good connections at Frankfurt, Munich, Paris or Vienna which allow you to reach numerous destinations worldwide.

Excellent internal flight connections to and from Leipzig will ensure that your connecting flights to worldwide destinations are well coordinated.

Transfers between the Exhibition Centre and the airport.

The Airport Express operated by Deutsche Bahn AG runs every 30 minutes between the airport and Leipzig Central railway station, stopping at "Leipzig - Neue Messe" station on the way. The journey to the Exhibition Centre takes 8 minutes.

Arriving by train
   

With Deutsche Bahn’s rail services, you can enjoy an environmentally friendly, inexpensive and stress-free journey to the trade fair city of Leipzig. The main railway station is located right in the centre of the city and is one of Europe’s largest and most modern stations.

The travel centre at Leipzig Central station is open daily until 10pm and the service point on the concourse is open around the clock. You can browse and take a break in the shops, cafés and restaurants here until 10pm.

To get from the main railway station to the Leipzig Trade Fair, take the local train, Airport Express service, tram or taxi. Information is available at the service point.

Arriving by public transport
   

You can get to Leipzig Exhibition Centre quickly and easily from the city centre by local public transport services. It only takes 6 minutes, for example, to travel from the main railway station to the Exhibition Centre on the Airport Express service.
Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe LVB (Leipzig Public Transport)

Take tram no. 16 from Leipzig Central station to "Messegelände" (the terminus) - the journey takes 19 minutes. The trams run every 10 minutes and take you almost right up to the main entrance (West Entrance / Glass Hall).

Regional railways
The regional rail service runs from Leipzig Central station to the Exhibition Centre every half hour. The journey to "Leipzig - Neue Messe" takes 6 minutes. From here, it is about a 10-minute walk to the West Entrance (Glass Hall). You can also travel one stop further by tram no. 16 to the terminus ("Messegelände").

Airport Express
The Airport Express service runs between Leipzig Central station and Leipzig/Halle Airport every half hour. This train also stops at "Leipzig - Neue Messe". Using this service, you can make a quick and safe journey from the airport (8 mins) or Leipzig Central station (6 mins) to the Exhibition Centre station. From here it is about a 10-minute walk to the West Entrance (Glass Hall). You can also travel one stop further by tram no. 16 to the terminus ("Messegelände").

Arriving by car
   

If you are arriving by car, please follow the signposts in and around Leipzig. Leipzig Exhibition Centre ("Messegelände") is very well signposted. Our parking guidance system is helpful for finding parking spaces and will guide you quickly and safely to any free parking space.

Arriving by taxi
   

At Leipzig/Halle Airport taxis can be found outside Terminal B. The largest taxi rank in the centre of Leipzig is located outside the central station.
At the Exhibition Centre taxis are available outside the West Entrance (between the Glass Hall and lake).
The journey from the Exhibition Centre to the airport or from the Exhibition Centre to Leipzig city centre takes approx. 15 minutes, depending on traffic.

Arriving by AutobahnExpress (intercitybus)
   

Highway Express runs on three lines every 4 hours to Potsdam, Göttingen, Leipzig and Dresden.
At the airport Leipzig / Halle Airport, there is a connection between the fast lines. To travel quickly and inexpensively across central Germany – for example, from Potsdam to Sangerhausen or from Göttingen to Dresden – with the intercitybus. The connections are guaranteed!
